sneak peak : flowers

This morning the mamas and I went down to Vans flowers to do a test run for the wedding: chrysanthemums, foxgloves, alstroemeria, peonies, and some extra fun stuff mixed with lambs' ears, and greens from my mom's garden. She has offered to do the arrangements, and these first ones are perfect- exactly what I pictured.

shower us. (2 months to go)

It's a weird feeling inviting you to give us wedding treasures, but nonetheless.....we are. Pete and Gloria are throwing us a shower and you are invited. If you want to come, shoot us and email or give us a call. We'd love to have you there. This is big for us seeing as neither of us have ever lived on our own and have yet to acquire those things people do when they fledge the nest. Pete designed this sweet invitation for us as well....my family is about to get a whole lot more talented.

Wedding planning is coming along. We have a tremendous amount left to do. Big thanks goes out to our families for helping us make this happen. I'm really pumped on how cool the ceremony is going to be. It really is going to be beautiful. The reception is going to be a lot of fun also: we have a trampoline, 3 roosters, 2 funny looking Chinese hens, a goofy looking goat, and possibly a hawk. These are all the ingredients to a happenin' wedding reception. I booked our wedding night at The W in midtown....so, that should be fun too ;)

We are still looking for a place to call home. Sara is working in downtown so we're looking for a good deal inside the perimeter. If you have any ideas, please shoot them my way. Sara is also about to graduate and I'm so proud of her. She is one of the most respected designers in her school which is a tough thing to achieve. It takes talent, creativity, skill, and a whole lot of dependable hard work. Yay for Sara. Such a babe. If you haven't seen any of her work yet, check it here.

That's it for now. More soon.

Love,
kc
